Tecnoway is the leading manufacturer of braces and orthopaedic prosthesis for preventive treatment and rehabilitation in Italy. The company was established based on a vocation for design and the entrepreneurial spirit shared by the Scatassa brothers - Ettore and Andrea - who decided to enter the "orthopaedic brace" sector at the end of the eighties. Up until then, the market had been dominated by foreign companies. The brothers laid the basis for a "Made in Italy" product, designing and constructing the first "three-point hyperextension brace" prototype. This marked the start of the company's growth, which has featured constant research as well as the development of new products based on its focus on product quality and functionality and has allowed it to obtain UNI EN ISO 9001 certification. These choices have helped positioning the company based on its elevated quality standards, which have been widely recognised in the market.

Every feedback Tecnoway has obtained since its inception - both from professionals, orthopaedics and technicians and from end users - helped recognise/acknowledge it the "Quality leader" role in the sector. From the beginning, the company has specialised in creating hyperextension braces, developing one of the widest ranges of braces available, including patented products such as the "MODULAR" - where it is the market leader with a production of approximately 30,000 pieces a year. Today TECNOWAY manufactures and markets a wide range of products both in Italy and abroad.
